Busy, Busy, Busy

I suck at social media. I know it. It’s been way too long since an update and a lot has been going on.

Right now Death Whistle Films has three plates spinning:

Our newest short film, Bill Came Back.

Our previous short, No Signature Required.

And a feature script called, His Father’s House, which I’ll talk about at the end of this update.

Starting with Bill Came Back, it has started its festival run and is performing well. So far it has been accepted to the Purgatory Film Festival, the Days of the Dead International Film Festival, and the Chicago Horror Film Festival. It has also received an honorable mention from the Hollywood Horrorfest.

Several of us are heading to Chicago on the 27th to attend the Chicago Horror Film Festival, so I’ll try to keep you all up to date on the goings on there.

No Signature Required was supposed to be done with its festival run, but that film refuses to lie down and die. It was just accepted to the Hollywood Horrorfest, a big festival in LA. We are waiting to hear back from the Shockfest Film Festival as well.

Big news: I (with the help of my writing partner, Travis Delaney) have completed a full length feature script. I am very proud of this achievement. The script is receiving very positive reviews/feedback from industry professionals. The next step is to work up a pitch deck for the project to try to get the funding to get it made.

It is called: His Father’s House.

Logline: After inheriting a remote farmhouse from a father he never knew, a man struggles with repressed memories and his grip on reality as he uncovers the dark secrets of his family's past.

Stay tuned for future updates and thank you all for the support!
