About Me
Death Whistle Films is the brainchild of Kenneth Lawrence, an award winning director/screenwriter/composer/editor who lives in Gloucester, MA.
He attended the Berklee College of Music where he studied music composition and performance before transferring to Hampshire College from which he graduated with a degree in Music Composition/Production.
Kenneth has a deep love of film with a particular penchant for the horror genre. He aspires to direct a feature film that touches a chord with the horror community.
In addition to filmmaking, Kenneth created “MC Hawking,” a satirical take on the late Professor Stephen Hawking which asks the age-old question: what if Stephen Hawking was a gangsta rapper? This project led to a considerable amount of media attention, a CD release on the Brash Music label, and remarkably, the honor of performing live for Professor Hawking himself at the 2016 Starmus Festival in Tenerife, Spain.
